From the 6th of May 2022, the car club in Norwich will be run by Enterprise Car Club in partnership with Norfolk County Council, as the city's official provider. Here on this dedicated webpage, we hope to tell you all you need to know about the transition, how we might differ and what membership discounts you might take advantage of.
Membership Offers
FREE membership & £25 driving credit for Norfolk Car Club Members Past & Present
If you are, or were previously, a member of the Norfolk Car Club, you will need to re-enrol in the new service, becoming an Enterprise Car Club member. To do so, follow the below simple steps. This will give you FREE Enterprise Car Club membership for the first year (thereafter £60/year), and £25 free driving credit*.
Click here and complete the Standard Plan enrolment form. This will take a few minutes. You'll need your driving licence photocard and payment details to hand.
Ensure the promotional code ‘GOFREE’ is inputted into the 'promo code' field on page 1 of your enrollment form to secure your FREE Enterprise Car Club membership for the first year (thereafter £60/year), and £25 free driving credit*.
Email membership@enterprisecarclub.co.uk to provide proof that you are (or have been) a member of Norfolk Car Club. We only need to see a booking or membership confirmation email which includes your name. For data protection reasons, Norfolk could not automatically share your data with us.

Our Vehicles
The below map will update automatically as vehicles are put in place. Enterprise Car Club will be retaining some of the current Car Club vehicles in Norwich, and adding 40 new Car Club vehicles initially. From late April and into May you'll start to see new vehicles appear here and on the mobile and desktop booking applications, as they start to disappear from the Norfolk Car Club booking site.

How We Differ
We are confident that Enterprise Car Club will elevate the service provision across the city. Most notably, those new to our service will enjoy a number of positive user enhancements, for example:
- Enhanced IOS/Android app functionality allowing you to unlock and lock vehicles
- No minimum monthly spend
- Nationwide access to the UK’s largest network of car club vehicles (1,500 cars and vans)
- Simpler payments with one transaction per booking
- Overseas driving licenses accepted
- Membership available for younger drivers
- Vehicles cleaned more regularly
- A greater choice of new vehicles
- Wider membership plan choice, with Standard+ membership including 60 free miles per day
There will also be, as you’d probably expect, some small shifts in the member journey and service delivery, that those used to Norfolk Car Club will need to familiarize themselves with to ensure a smooth rental experience. These surround changes in the key usage protocols, vehicle entry mechanics, cancelation policies, membership plan structure, and excess protection, to name a few.
Please take note of the two following key differences between Enterprise Car Club and Norfolk Car Club:
1) Use the Enterprise Car Club app to unlock and lock the vehicle - No more rummaging around for membership cards in bags, wallets or purses, or realising you have left your card at home.
2) During your booking use the keys to lock and unlock the vehicle - With Enterprise Car Club the keys can leave the vehicle. Simply use the app at the beginning and end of your booking to unlock and lock the vehicle.

Business Travel
Enterprise Car Club saves hundreds of businesses time and money by replacing expensive and time-consuming company cars, taxis and mileage reimbursement (grey fleet) with access to self-service vehicles. Renting From 19-21 years
At Enterprise Car Club you can join from the age of 19 (as long as you have had your licence for at least a year). You can join our ‘Under 22’ membership plan which usually costs £6 a month. With membership you can rent only small and medium vehicles between 5am and 10pm. There is a £100 spend limit (excl. mileage). If you were/are with Norfolk Car Club you can join this membership plan at a discounted rate by contacting the Enterprise Car Club Clubhouse team on 0345 266 9290 or via email on Membership@enterprisecarclub.co.uk.
Promotional Terms & Conditions
Join for FREE, plus get £25 FREE driving credit, using promotion code GOFREE when joining, if you are, or were previously, a member of the Norfolk Car Club and reside in Norfolk.
1. This offer entitles you to sign up to annual Standard or Standard+ membership of Enterprise Car Club for the initial signing up fee of £0 for the first year of membership only. (This offer excludes joining the Under22s plan – so if you are a Norfolk Car Club member aged 21 please click here for information)
2. For the avoidance of doubt, this offer does not apply to the price of any further years of membership.
3. To be eligible for this promotion you must, (a) be an existing or past member of Norfolk Car Club; (b) satisfy the eligibility criteria for Enterprise Car Club membership; (c) reside in Norfolk with an NR postcode and (d) not have held an Enterprise Car Club membership in the 6 months prior to your new application.
